Head's Welcome
"I am delighted to be the new Head of Lincoln Minster School. I have quickly been struck by what a special place it is. We are fortunate to be able to offer small class sizes, modern facilities in a historic setting, and a dynamic education from Reception through to Year 13 that brings out the very best of pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our priorities are simple: we want our pupils to be happy and to achieve – and in that order. It is important that they enjoy their time with us and develop an appetite for learning that stays with them for life. They are also more likely to achieve if they are happy, so this will always be at the heart of all that we do.
We therefore focus on inspiring pupils academically, with a broad curriculum taught by well-qualified subject experts, as well as offering a rich programme of co-curricular activities. Through these areas, pupils develop key personal characteristics, attitudes and behaviours that we hope will equip them to be happy and successful throughout their lives.
