Lincoln Minster School

Results & Reports

We are committed to offering the very best quality of teaching, learning and academic support. We aim to make sure that each pupil reaches their personal best by providing an enriching, engaging and challenging study programme.

The achievements of our pupils position us as one of the top independent schools in the East Midlands.

We do not believe, however, that results alone show the true measure of a school. We are committed to the individual needs and enthusiasms of each pupil. It is far more important that each individual achieves their very best.

A truly excellent education is about much more than academic achievement alone: it is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, moral values, self-confidence without arrogance, and a broad range of interests that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. In short, it is developing the whole person, to ensure that each pupil leaves here ready for the challenges that lie ahead.

GCSE Results 2024

Our pupils achieved GCSE results to be proud of, with almost 90% at grade 9-4 compared with 67% nationally. After two years of hard work and dedication, nearly all pupils successfully emerged with at least eight GCSEs, while some went the extra mile and earned up to 12. While we are always most interested in each pupil's individual progress, it was certainly pleasing to see almost a quarter of grades at the top 9-7 level.
